Well – IF you’re out to just quickly figure out how to go about setting up a complete SCCM deployment setup, let me start by disappointing you.
Setting up SCCM is both tedious AND very complicated! SCCM is Microsoft’s to date most advanced system involving possibly multiple servers, databases, extensive network and Active Directory.
As a minimum you must therefore be an IT professional with extensive Server AND Network AND Active Directory knowledge – and then some SQL access rights knowledge – to pull it off.
If you have no prior SCCM experience then read Kent Agerlunds book:
System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1: Mastering the Fundamentals, 2nd Edition
And when you completed that task, IF you’re still up to it, start building by going back to page one and follow Kent’s book page by page!
On Deploy.dk You WILL also be able to find a basic design guide that simplifies some of the initial decisions you’ll have to make!
And Google, Google Google !!
